Free World Rivers Day weekend of walks, river sampling, talks and family activities along the River Tyne and East Lammermuir burns, 25-27 September 2026.
To celebrate World Rivers Day, groups across East Lothian are hosting a free weekend of events on a rivers theme. Activities focus on the River Tyne and its tributaries and the East Lammermuir burns, with walks, river sampling, talks, creativity and family sessions.
