Event series: Playful Summer at Newhailes

Get ready for a summer packed with traditional fun at Newhailes – perfect for families and young adventurers. We’re bringing play back to basics, with five fantastic zones for children (and grown-ups!) to explore:Sport Zone – Run, jump and play classic games.Nature Zone – Discover, build and get hands-on with the outdoors.Imagination Zone – Get creative and run wild with dressing-up and make-believe.Beach Zone – Enjoy the sand, water and seaside vibes.Chill Out Zone – Wind down in the hay bale maze and quiet corners.Playful Summer is free for National Trust for Scotland members and is also included with entry to our Weehailes Playpark.Dates & timesSaturday 28 June–Monday 25 August, 10am–5pmTo help us manage visitor flow and make sure everyone has a great experience, tickets are issued with timed entry slots. This allows us to keep the play spaces safe, enjoyable and not too crowded, so there’s plenty of room to run, explore and play.Is there parking available?Yes. There is a £5 parking charge. Members enjoy free parking, with a valid car parking sticker.
