A rip-roaring night of the very best live stand-up comedy starring the TV names you know and love alongside some of the hottest up-and-coming talent. Presented by Scotland’s original home of live comedy Gilded Balloon, this is the ultimate night out for comedy fans with Jack Skipper, Alison Spittle, Raymond Mearns, Tamsyn Kelly and Gareth Mutch.

Breakout social media star Jack Skipper is our October headliner, with an impressive 19 million likes on TikTok under his belt. He is joined by Irish comedian Alison Spittle, following appearances on Celebrity GoggleBox and The Guilty Feminist podcast, alongside Scottish BAFTA winner and star of Limmy’s Show, Raymond Mearns. Completing the line up is rising talent Tasmyn Kelly, with seasoned Edinburgh Fringe comedian Gareth Mutch as MC. Recommended for ages 16 plus, strong language. Jack Skipper Hailing from South London, Jack Skipper went from a carpet fitter to comedian and internet sensation. His everyday guy persona has gained him an impressive following on social media, with over 19 million likes on TikTok and a combined following of 1M. Skipper has starred on Comedy Central Live and in the Stand Up Sketch Show on ITV2, as well as being a finalist in the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition. He has also supported Michael McIntyre, Russell Kane and Suzi Ruffell on tour. Alison Spittle Alison Spittle is an Irish comedian, radio producer, actress and comedy writer. She co-hosts the BBC Sounds Wheel of Misfortune podcast with Kerry Katona, and can regularly be heard on The Guilty Feminist Podcast as a guest host. Spittle has appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox, Richard Osman’s House of Games, Pointless Celebrities, and as a judge on the BBC New Comedy Awards. She is the creator and star of the television series Nowhere Fast, which aired on RTÉ2, BBC America and Stan Australia to critical acclaim. She has also been the support act on tour for Fern Brady and Maria Bamford. Raymond Mearns Described by Frankie Boyle as “a genuine improvisational genius”, Raymond Mearns was the winner of The Scottish Comedy Awards and The Scottish BAFTAs, as well as a nominee for the Sir Billy Connelly Spirit of Glasgow Award. Mearns is gaining wider recognition as one of the UK’s most consistent comedians. Raymond’s Film credits include Ae Fond Kiss (2004), It’s a Free World (2007), and the ITV1 Drama Doors Open (2012) written by Ian Rankin and starring Stephen Fry. Tasmyn Kelly Tamsyn Kelly is a working class comedian, actor and writer from Penzance, Cornwall. Kelly was a writer on BBC Radio 4's Wosson Cornwall, which she starred in with Dawn French, and had her writing praised by The Guardian and Time Out. Tamsyn currently has several other scripted projects in development across various channels. She has appeared in the Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2) alongside Seann Walsh, and was a regional finalist in the BBC New Comedian of the Year Award (BBC One). Gareth Mutch A regular at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and scooping Best Show nominations over the last few years, Gareth Mutch has steadily earned a reputation as a rising star of the UK comedy scene. He has performed twice at Scotland’s T in the Park Festival, has hosted regional heats of the BBC New Comedy Award and hosted the official launch party for the Edinburgh Fringe Society. He is in demand as a tour support, having previously supported Iain Stirling as well as Tom Stade – who he has partnered with for the past four years on mammoth UK tours. *Line-up is subject to change in exceptional circumstances. In the event of a line-up alteration, a performer of similar calibre will be added.
This event will be held at Corn Exchange, Court Street, Haddington EH41 3DS. Access into the building is level, with accessible toilets inside. You can choose your seat for this event. Seating is all on one level with a raised stage. The Corn Exchange has recently been refurbished and we have added a technical infrastructure for the stage, sound and lighting especially for live performances. A selection of interval refreshments are available, and the town has several restaurants and bars. Located on Court Street, the main road through Haddington, there is free parking at the rear of the building.
