Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective (East Linton)

Part of the Lammermuir Festival Kaleidoscope, an all-star line-up of top British musicians, can be guaranteed to intrigue and thrill with their imaginative programmes and stunning playing. The first of their two concerts prefaces Brahms’s glorious Clarinet Quintet with a clutch of folksong arrangements, Bartók-inspired music by African-American composer Jessie Montgomery, and a 20th-century classic by Bartók himself.
