Tenebrae's magnificent programme of Tudor music contains some of the most inspirational devotional pieces by Tallis and Byrd, including the latter's Mass for Four Voices, and lesser-known gems, ending with the rich textures of William Mundy's huge motet, Vox Patris caelestis. This fine Norman-style Victorian church is dedicated to Baldred, East Lothian's own 8th-century saint.
