On Monday 12th, in partnership with Scottish Racing Academy and Careers in Racing, we’ll be hosting Scotland's final Community Day of the year.
For those who have registered with the Scottish Racing Academy, the day will focus on exploring pathways into the racing industry and showcasing the wide range of career opportunities available.
Following a welcome from our team of experienced industry professionals, we’ll take an intimate tour of the racecourse before the gates open to the public. We’ll also be joined by a fantastic range of guest speakers, including Musselburgh’s own Marketing Manager, Anne, an apprentice jockey, a travelling head person and others working across different areas of the industry.
Hearing directly from people who are already building their careers in racing will, we hope, demonstrate just how many opportunities are available — and how the Scottish Racing Academy can help you take the next step towards your goals. Finishing with an interactive activity, the morning will set you up for a wonderful afternoon of racing here at Musselburgh.
Our team will also be on hand throughout the day to provide information about our racing qualifications and Modern Apprenticeships, as well as offering guidance and support to anyone interested in getting involved in the industry .Whether you’re already passionate about racing or simply curious about what a career in the industry could look like, we’d love to see you there!
