Balgone Pumpkins 2026

Balgone Pumpkins returns for its sixth year, bringing pumpkin picking, a Haunted Trail and a full Halloween day out to Balgone Estate near North Berwick. Choose your pumpkins straight from the patch, with wheelbarrows provided and photo spots dotted around the field. Signs along the way also give an insight into how pumpkins are grown and what happens throughout the farming year at Balgone. Every ticket includes the 1.8km Haunted Trail around Balgone Lakes, winding through woodland and alongside the water. The trail runs in daylight and follows uneven ground with slopes, so sturdy footwear is recommended. Away from the patch, the food village brings together independent street food traders alongside Balgone's own farm-to-fork BBQ and Herd café, with covered seating available. Visitors can also toast marshmallows at the Lakeside Cabin, and face painting is available throughout the season. Balgone Pumpkins runs across three October weekends, including Halloween itself: - Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October 2026 - Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026 - Friday 30 to Saturday 31 October 2026 Open 9am to 4pm each operating day, with hourly entry slots from 9am and last entry at 3pm. Tickets are £18 per car, or per walking group of up to five people. One ticket covers everyone in the vehicle or group. Pumpkins are purchased separately at the Patch Checkout.
