Coffee Concert Schubert Music for Violin and Piano I: performed by Maria Milstein (Violin), Nathalia Milstein (Piano) playing Schubert; Sonatina in G minor D408; Sonata in A major D574 ‘Grand Duo’; Rondo Brillant in B minor D895 at Holy Trinity Church, Haddington on Thu 10 Sept 11am as part of the Lammermuir Festival. Dutch violinist Maria Milstein, familiar to many of our audience from the superb Van Baerle Trio, returns with her sister Nathalia for two concerts including all of Schubert's music for violin and piano. In this first programme the intimately lyrical 'Grand Duo' is the centrepiece, with the extrovert virtuosity of the late 'Rondo Brillant' as the climax.
